I am a student of the Austrian School of monetary policy. But my question here is if you owe $100,000 and the government prints so much money that hyperinflation gets to the point that $100,000 will only buy a loaf of bread. Will your lender call the note before it gets to that point? Or will you be able to pay off your loan with the equivalent of a loaf of bread? I’ll bet that they call the loan, so you have to go borrow the $100,000, if you can, from someone else, but then the interest rate will be upwards of astronomical to keep pace with inflation…we are all screwed!

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if it were real, but it doesn’t appear to be legitimate in this case, it is mounted on a transformer and on a broadcast converter it would be hard to get a signal back to a monitoring station. Now cable boxes from the cable company are a different story, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see this sort of thing in those.
